A professional Cake Smash Experience is a wonderful way to record your baby turning one. It is a unique way of celebrating and both youngsters and parents love it!
Your photoshoot will be divided up into 3 parts, each lasting approximately 15-20 minutes. But these can be shorter/longer depending upon our model. This also allows us plenty of interruptions for breaks, cuddles and of course outfit changes.
We begin with a nice smart portrait session to prove that we started off all clean and tidy. The second section is dedicated to the cake and all the mess that goes with it. Lastly we finish the shoot with the bath, some bubbles and the occasional splash.
Cake Smash & Splash Experience can be shot either in my small studio space located just outside Maidenhead, or in the comfort of your own home. For a home shoot I bring with me a small set up as well as all the props I may need. Any mess is kept to a minimum and cleaned away as part of the service.
Please note that cake is not included due to food hygiene, intolerance and allergy reasons. I can gladly recommend a couple of retailers who provide readymade cakes that are perfect and have been used by clients in the past. If you wish to switch the cake for a fruit alternative, then please notify me during your booking.
At the bottom of this page you will find a selection of some predesigned colour schemes from which you can select from. If you would prefer something more unique then sessions can be custom designed to fit most requests.
My ‘Cake Smash Photography Experience’ starts at just £49 and includes the session fee as well as a complimentary 10×8 mounted print. In addition, you will receive the accompanying digital image free of charge, (perfect for social media and regular prints). There is also a post experience reveal appointment as well as a complimentary gift voucher with for the value of £50 (to be used against a Family or Pet Portrait Photography experience). Larger wall art, extra prints as well as albums are available and can be considered during your reveal appointment.
A ‘Cake Smash Photography’ experience can be such a fabulous birthday gift idea for a friend or loved ones child. Gift vouchers can be customised to any package or budget and can be personalised for your chosen recipient.
Your finished gift certificate will be printed on gorgeous soft cream wove premium paper, sealed with wax, and presented in a matching cream envelope. Ready to be delivered by yourself or popped in the post by us.

An absolute fab photographer: James did our wedding and he is AMAZING at what he does! James is very organised and creative, and pre-plans photo shoots which is so handy on the day.
