Newborn experiences are my happiness. Those gorgeous fresh little angels are my muse and photographing their innocence truly makes my day.
In the initial days, your baby will be in that lovely squishy stage, all curled up and sleepy from being in the womb for all that time. For this reason, we like to arrange sessions for babies that are 14 days or younger. It is possible to go a little over this, but it is a lot trickier to keep them asleep and posed.
Shoots are generally conducted in the comfort of your own home with a small portable set up that I bring with me. I will also have to hand a selection of props and backgrounds which will provide us with variation in our looks and poses. We will review the finer details of how to prepare and of course anything you may need to do once you have booked.
Occasionally these sessions can run a little longer than anticipated due to us keeping baby warm, safe and happy. So it’s best to make sure you don’t have any appointments or obligations planned for up to four hours after your arranged booking. A feeding time is a practical place to get things underway as this will aid with them falling asleep. Pauses will be taken whenever necessary for changes, feeds and cuddles.

My ‘Newborn Photography Experience’ starts at just £49 and includes the session fee as well as a complimentary 10×8 mounted print. In addition, you will receive the accompanying digital image free of charge, (perfect for social media and regular prints). There is also a post experience reveal appointment as well as a complimentary gift voucher for the value of £50 (to be used against a Baby/toddler session or Cake Smash & Splash session). Larger wall art as well as extra prints and albums are available and can be considered during your reveal appointment.

James is friendly, professional and very good at keeping an excitable mother of the bride calm. He also helped with his fantastic sewing skills when a bridesmaids dress needed fixing! His photographs are beautiful and really captured our day in the most amazing way
