Pregnancy is such a fleeting chapter. Your body is changing, your baby is growing, and before you know it, that beautiful bump will be gone and your little one will be in your arms.
That’s why I love maternity photography.
It’s a chance to pause and celebrate you, your bump and the incredible journey you’re on — creating photographs that will take you right back to this moment, even years from now.
And perhaps most importantly, photographs where you’re in them too.
You don’t need to know how to pose, and you certainly don’t need to feel like a model.
I’ll guide you throughout your experience, using simple poses and techniques to create beautiful, natural and flattering photographs while making sure you feel completely at ease.
Your experience is relaxed and unrushed, with plenty of time for breaks whenever you need them.
I recommend coming into the studio between 32 and 36 weeks, when your bump has that beautiful, full shape.
Although I allow up to two hours, most experiences finish sooner once we’ve captured everything we’re looking for.
Before your experience, we’ll talk through clothing and the different looks you’d like to create.
Bring a small selection of outfits that make you feel comfortable and beautiful. And if you fancy treating yourself to freshly styled hair or a manicure beforehand, even better.
Professional make-up is also available if you’d like to make your experience feel a little more special.
Your partner and children are welcome too, and you can bring along meaningful little details — perhaps some tiny baby shoes, a favourite toy or a special keepsake.
These personal touches can make your photographs even more meaningful.
Your Maternity Photography Experience starts at just £49 and includes your session, a complimentary 10×8 mounted print and the matching digital image — perfect for sharing with loved ones or printing again whenever you wish.
At your viewing, you’ll see your photographs for the first time and have the opportunity to choose additional prints, beautiful wall art or an album.
You’ll also receive a complimentary £50 gift voucher towards a Newborn Photography package, giving you the opportunity to continue your story once your little one arrives.
